“LAST SUMMER I WAS FEELING A NEED FOR A TRAINER AFTER AN ANKLE SURGERY AND ISSUES WITH MY BACK THAT WERE CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL PAIN. ADDITIONALLY, I GAINED A BUNCH OF WEIGHT DURING COVID AND WAS FEELING GENERALLY UNHEALTHY, DEPRESSED, TIRED AND IN SO MUCH PAIN (UNABLE TO WALK WITHOUT WINCING). I HAD TRIED HIGH CARDIO BOOT CAMPS IN THE PAST AND USED OTHER TRAINERS. ALL OF THE CARDIO TRAINING WAS NOT SUSTAINABLE FOR WHAT I ENJOY DOING. I ENJOY BEING OUTSIDE HIKING AND ROCK CLIMBING. USING A FITBIT, MY FITNESS PAL AND TRAINERIZE—-EVERYTHING SYNCS TOGETHER AND ALAN IS ABLE TO RUN HIS CALCULATIONS BASED ON THE INFORMATION ALL THESE APPS GIVE HIM. HE DOES ALL OF THE WORK, KNOWING HOW BUSY MY SCHEDULE IS. I ONLY HAD TO LOOK AT MY APP TO SEE WHAT MY WORKOUT FOR THE DAY IS AND HOW I HAD TO EAT. ALAN TAKES SO MUCH TIME TO PREPARE MY WEEKS WORKOUTS AND MEALS ON TOP OF HOLDING ME ACCOUNTABLE. IF EVER MY WEIGHTLOSS PLATEAUS, ALAN MADE ADJUSTMENTS. WHEN ADJUSTMENTS ARE STAGNANT, HE AUTHORIZED/PROVIDED BLOOD WORKUPS SO HE COULD SEE IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES THAT WE COULDN’T SEE. HE HAS WORKED SO HARD FOR ME! WE ARE COMING TO AN END NOW AND HE IS TAKING THE TIME TO TEACH ME HOW HE PUTS TOGETHER THESE WORKOUTS, HOW HE PLANS THE NUTRITION AND SHARES A MOUNTAIN OF INFORMATION EACH TIME WE CHAT. HE IS SETTING ME UP TO HAVE SUCCESS IN ALL THESE ASPECTS BY MYSELF. ON A PERSONAL NOTE, ALAN HAS BEEN SO KIND AND PATIENT. HE DOESN’T LORD OVER ME AT THE GYM WITH A ONE SIDE FITS ALL APPROACH.
